Home Phone Troubleshooting Home Telephone Troubleshooting?

Home telephone troubleshooting? - home phone troubleshooting

According to friends who do not benefit from a continuous 24 / 7 on your mobile. When we called, there is a constant busy signals, and do not receive dial tone at the end. These, 12-24 hours, then the work of a week or two, but only to breed.

We would try to eliminate all the problems at the end of the house before the man with the phone. We have a multimeter, a phone with a stopper and two alligator clips and time. What can we do?

Chris C has an excellent response. Most are not as skilled electricians in the work of low voltage. Good work.

The only mention what has to perform this procedure if the problem happens. I suspect that a cable is physically in movement.

A busy signal is a short circuit, it is an open circle. An open circuit could lead to an endless stream of phone when you ring.

BTW, good voltage in the range of 50 to 90 volts DC. When the phone rings, there is a lot more power on the line in your hands visible. Red / Green is usually the first line of the house. Black / Yellow is the second in the rule.

They love it, at least two by two, sometimes three or four run, partly because a replacement. Whenever I find four son for each container, simply add a second line.

Since it was intermittent, at one of the phones in the house that moves? Just a guess, there are other possibilities.

PS I attached great response to someone who is really a wrong answer. My AppoloC Chris Gies to temporarily lend to the correct answer.

Another thing to think. If you hear a busy signal - is a standard, how many times per second, or sums is much faster. Fasting has said that the telephone company has (a problem with congestion in this area, "all circuits" busy "). Is this the cause of the problem, then to waste so much time to disappear. Call phone company and tell them that you can quickly get a job if you call this number. You can find the problem or we can say, "Too bad there's nothing we care to do this topic. "

I was incoherent and DSL phone service as described above. When you drag my fax and answering machine, I have my cell phone. Also DSL customer service was not sure why it happened, but I might not answer them all. It is very interesting w / o voice mail and fax was not working well anyway.

It seems that someone plays the way! or you have an intermittent open outside the box can be opened with a screwdriver, and it works! a power outlet to connect a phone is connected, so if the problem is that the connection is a telephone in the socket, so you can normally use, then something is wrong at home .. If you have an apartment, which follow the line and see if someone should not have used, you do get calls and additional accounts for more?

Visit the company online repair service. It will test the line and diagnose problems with before someone anyway.

Because it is an intermittent problem, you can try to start a process of elimination. Drag your games one by one, until the problem disappears.

It's probably a problem with the box in front of the house, if there is a switch and the telephone company Come check it out if you do not want to scream to climb the mast and playing with things in

First go to the demarcation, usually outside the house, open the client side and see if there is anything behind the terminals. First you pull the plug in the box and connect the phone. If you get a clean sound, the problem is inside the house, if you do not get a dial tone busy / bad call cooperation. It is their problem. Under the assumption that the problem is inside the house, we found that all lines are in, and take it all apart, then put together 1BY 1st Depending on how old is your son at home 4 (red, green, black, yellow) and 8 (blue, white with blue, orange, orange, white, green, green, white with white and brown, brown) Maybe even a combination. Pairs of colors: blue, green, blue white go red. Orange is orange white black, yellow.
